Meet Catherine
To grow an active imagination, plant a child in a house with stuffed animals, craft supplies for building dollhouses, and piles of books. Let her explore fields and forests nearby. Nurture her with visits to historic sites and museums, easily done if she’s growing up in Virginia.
When that imagination pictures a better world for people with disabilities, she’ll be led to a career in occupational therapy. Then a folk song about a mail order bride will spark a story within her. The Call will come while she visits Central Park’s memorial to John Lennon, a mosaic with the word “Imagine.” God has a delightful sense of humor!
Ephesians 3:20 says God can do more than we can ask or imagine – He sure can!
